In applications where multiple rectangular conductor supply spools will not be tensioned directly upon each supply spool through a center shaft, Broomfield can provide a “clamp type” tensioner that is pneumatically powered.
This type of friction tensioning directly upon the conductor is not always advisable when the conductor is insulated, due to possible adverse affects to the insulation.
